HOTWATER DISPENSER

Drinking tea is common practice as well as deep routing tradition in parts of the world less prone to the consumption of coffee.
Celebrating the perfect brew of sensible teas as well as transfering the relaxing effetcs of drinking to the actual brewing process was the main focus of this project. Different teas often need specific brewing temperatures and times. This requires knowledge and effort with a standard kettle or a pot and a hob.
This is the part where the hotwater dispenser can ease the process with simply delivering water with exactly the right temperature. Transfering the relaxing element of brewing and drinking tea even more pronounced is closely related to topics like the optics, the haptics and of course the way the water enters and leaves the machine.
During the third semester, we went through a design process for the first time using a reference or model product as a technical template. We first took the reference product apart and analyzed it to determine which components are used in a hot water dispenser. At the same time, we determined the space requirements for each component.
The white model shows the current stage of the design. The separation between the base and the upper part is already hinted at.
The solid model for the water tank has also already been included in the design.
