Fabric meets filament

Meisterschule für Mode München, Contract work

The master craftsman school for mode design lounched an awesome project in 2021. They used fabrics with african wax print patterns and transformed them into an haute coture collection. The focus was the transformation of tradition into the modern world and to accompany the stiles I created a series of 3D- printed jewelry. The different peaces are kept in simple geometric design to compliment the neat cut of the collection.

The printed jewelry itself was kept in it´s original raw appearance. No sanding, no paint only filament.

Stefan Hobmaier was responsible for the photography of the collection.

Utilizing 3D print allowed for multiple desings to be produced in a couple of hours. This versatility and the modern aesthetics of 3D printing where the main reasons for employing this bit of technology for the job.

The jewelry pieces range from simple earrings to statement peaces, each designed with a keen attention to detail. The bold, geometric patterns reflect modern design principles and add a counterweight to the rich traditional fabrics.

This jewelry collection is a testament to the possibilities that arise when tradition meets innovation. It not only enhances the couture pieces but also transports the story of cultural fusion and creative exploration.
